They have everything you might need and fantastic local knowledge and tips. Check out Steve's Surf hire and Shore 2 Surf for surf lessons and equipment rental.
2. Westward Ho!: This wonderful beach offers gentle waves that can be surfed throughout the day, so you don't have to worry about tide times. Tuition and equipment rental are readily available, and Westward Ho! even has a surf school. During the summer months, the beach is patrolled by lifeguards. North Devon Surfing Beaches - Perfect for the more experienced:5. Croyde: Popular with the locals, Croyde Beach offers faster waves, albeit smaller than Woolacombe, and it's also rockier, which keeps you on your toes. Surf schools and equipment hire shops have everything you need to enjoy yourselves. Check out Croyde Surf Hire and Croyde Surf Academy for more information.
6. Lynmouth: Found further afield, Lynmouth is the only part of the coast where you'll find a point break. However, it's not recommended for inexperienced surfers due to rocks and stronger currents.
