The Farmers Arms, Woolsery β A beautifully restored 17th-century inn offering exceptional food in a stunning setting. Part of the renowned Woolsery Collective, they serve creative dishes using ingredients grown on their own farm just down the road. Whether you choose a relaxed meal in the pub or book the Potting Shed for private dining (up to 18 guests), it's a real experience worth the 45-minute drive from Millbrook. Sunday lunch is also fabulous!
Tiffin Indian Kitchen, Barnstaple β Tucked away in Barnstaple, Tiffin is a hidden gem serving beautifully presented modern Indian cuisine. With a tempting tasting menu, expertly crafted cocktails, and lovely service, it's perfect for a special night out. They also cater very well for gluten-free diets.
Smoke on the Waters, High Bickington β Just a 2-minute drive from Millbrook, you'll find something very different! Smoke on the Waters is a fabulous takeaway and eat-in experience (wrap up warm β it's in a modern barn!) just outside the village of High Bickington. Open Friday evenings and Saturday lunchtimes and evenings β we recommend booking or heading over early as they do run out! From succulent ribs to loaded fries, it's a must. They also offer live music evenings and cookery courses!
