Tours and Fishing Lessons

Roger Bickley who recently retired from the Environmental Agency after 30 years as Fisheries and Environment Officer has an extensive knowledge of the rivers of North Devon, including Exmoor and North Dartmoor.

This area is the setting for the famous Henry Williamson books Tarka the Otter and Salar the Salmon. Roger is able to put reality to the places and events mentioned in the books

He also has an extensive knowledge of the local History and geography of North Devon and can take you to those magic places to relay the stories.

Should you wish to learn to fish, have a guide for the day or travel on a bespoke tour of North Devon, Roger is available to take individuals or parties of up to four people. Transport is provided.
