Why not make your stay that much more memorable and special and try private dining in our summer house.
You can enjoy an intimate romantic evening in the summer house for 2, we dress the summer house with candles (inside and out), a roaring log fire in colder months or the summerhouse doors open in the warmer months, with views looking over the estate. The cost for the summerhouse (exclusive use) set up for private dining is £75 including a bottle of champagne waiting for you on ice. (you can bring your own additional alcohol too!).
The food would be provided by one of our caterers who will come to Millbrook and cook for you, and provide, freshly cooked food to the summerhouse. The cost of the food depends on your own personalised menu choices, and can vary from £35 to £60 each!
We only offer one private dining per week, so if you are staying at Millbrook for a special occasion book early to avoid disappointment.
Fawn one of our females had a little baby boy yesterday. He was very strong and we have named him Torch (after the olympic torch coming through Devon this week!).
Ok, so its not that pretty but it was lurking under the slate signs we removed to restore (so we are stuck with it for a few weeks!) Not sure how old it is – looks a little Spanish to me!

Having such wonderful weather in March seems to be a trend as it was lovely in 2011 too! We have had temperatures up to 21 degrees in the day time this week but also had several frosts at night.
The clear skies has made for amazing star gazing!
Here are just a few photos of spring colour at Millbrook this year.
