Directions from the M5

Leave the M5 at Junction 27 (Tiverton) and take the A361 towards Barnstaple/South Molton. Head through South Molton and follow signs for Torrington. Once in Atherington follow signs for High Bickington.

As you enter High Bickington, there is a traffic calming system. After this turn right into a road called Barton Meadow. Follow this road until you get to the bottom of the hill (approx 1 mile) we are located at the bottom of this hill on the left, with a large gate and drive. Please drive up the drive and park to the left of roundabout in front of the mill wheel and walk up to the main house where you will be greeted.

Directions from Exeter

Follow the A377 out of Exeter towards Barnstaple, it is about 30 miles to the turn off to High Bickington, this is sign posted in the village of Portsmouth Arms. Take the left turn and follow up the hill. Turn right at the top and follow the road into the village of High Bickington. The last road on the left of the village just before the traffic calming system is Barton Meadow road and the road that you must take Follow this road until you get to the bottom of the hill (approx 1 mile) we are located at the bottom of this hill on the left, with a large gate and drive. Please drive up the drive and park to the left of roundabout in front of the mill wheel and walk up to the main house where you will be greeted.

Directions from Cornwall/Minehead

If you are coming to us from Cornwall or the North Devon and Somerset coast please head to Barnstaple. Take the A377 to Exeter and take the turning for High Bickington about 7 miles out of the town. You will enter Atherington, please take the left turn immediately after the post office sign posted High Bickington. As you enter High Bickington, there is a traffic calming system. Our local station is Umberleigh which is around a 8 minute drive. You would need to change at Exeter for this station. Trains are very regular and run around 8 services each way per day. We can provide a pick up service is required. www.thetrainline.com

By Plane

Exeter airport is less that 1 hour drive from Millbrook and provides regular services from Newcastle, Norwich, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds Bradford, Jersey, Guernsey, Glasgow, Dublin and Belfast.
