Relaxing Holidays - Millbrook is situated just under a mile from the Village of High Bickington. From the moment you come up the long drive it feels peaceful and relaxing. There is everything here for a restful week, with 32 acres there are plenty of hidden spots to hide with a good book or why not spend an evening in the hot tub. Beach Holidays - With some many beaches to choose from in North Devon, you are spoilt for choice. Millbrook is centrally located, ideal for getting to them. We are around 20 minutes from the nearest beach.

Surfing Holidays - Millbrook is the perfect place to stay if you enjoy surfing, with all of the fantastic surfing close by you will never be short of somewhere different to go.

Exploring Holidays - With all the different activities North Devon offers, Millbrook is the perfect base for exploring. Why not go to Exmoor, The Eden Project, Dartmoor or one of the many attractions within easy reach.

Activity Holidays - We are perfectly situated for the cycle trail. From Umberleigh train station you can catch a train into Barnstaple (9 minutes by train, great in the summer) and hire a bike, enabling you to ride along the Tarka Trail. Or you can walk the coastal path......

The Evenings....

We are very fortunate to be near so many great romantic, relaxing places to go to in the evening. Weirmarsh Farm Restaurant is nearby offering fabulous home cooked food every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening, Be sure to book early to avoid disappointment. Weirmarsh gets booked up weeks ahead.

The Old George Inn is only a 10 minute stroll away, here you can be spoilt with great home cooked pub food and real ales, before taking a romantic walk back watching the stars at night.

Why not open a bottle of wine and sit next to the lake, watching the sun set? Or get some fantastic local sausages from the nearby farm shop, have a great barbeque and relax!
