The pub is very local and only a 10 minute walk from the cottages (unfortunately it is uphill there, but at least its down hill on the way back!!). The pub serves food every lunch time and evening, serving times are 12 -2 and 6.30 - 9.30 (9.00) on Sundays during the winter and 12 - 9 during the summer. It is advisable to book for Sunday lunch. The old George serves real Ales, changed regularly and great food, they allow dogs and children and also accept credit cards.

Great Friendly Pub about a 5 minute drive from Millbrook. Offering quality home cooked meals. Highly recommended.
Weirmarsh Farm Restaurant - Umberleigh (01769 560338)
This comes highly recommended but you will have to book a long time in advance! The re staurant is run by a family and is around a 5 minute drive from Millbrook. It is only open on Friday and Saturday evening and you will be sent a menu to choose from before the evening. The meal costs around £24 for 4 courses and wine and drinks are very reasonably priced.

The Duke of York - Iddesleigh (01837 810253)
Made famous from the BBC TV series "Down to Earth" The Duke of York, know as The Black Bull in the TV series is very foody and sells beer from the barrel behind the bar. The Sunday lunch is very nice and needs to be booked in advance for the restaurant, or if you are lucky you can get a table in the pub which are not reserved. The Duke of York is around a 20 minute drive from Millbrook.
