About Us
We are Bob and Kate, we moved to Millbrook in March 2005 from North Somerset. We live and work at Millbrook and see it through the seasons. Kate's' favourite time of year is late April when spring is sprung and when everyday the plants look different. Bobs' favourite time of year is winter - with the crisp frosts and the colour's of the willows.
Dave is our grounds keeper and Nicki is our Housekeeper. We also have two part time cleaners called Cat and Su, who live locally and a gardner called Annie who helps us to plant up areas and make them look stunning! You will find our handyman Alan fixing things and we also have Linda, Lisa and Nikki working part time in the office.
We open Millbrook 365 days a year and our only out of season times are just before Christmas and just after New Year. We specialise in romantic breaks for couples of all ages!
The income from Millbrook Cottages is re-invested in keeping the cottages and grounds to a high standard.
We own 3 other holiday properties :-
A chalet in Austria called Mountains View, please have a look it is a fantastic place to go for a winter skiing holiday or a summer exploring holiday.
Rose Cottage in High Bickington a great romantic retreat a Hot Tub Cottage.
Little Owl, a fantastic holiday cottage for 2 on the edge of Exmoor next to The Masons Arms - North Devon Pub of the year and has a Mitchelin Star! (it also takes one well behaved doggy!)
Millbrook has been a massive learning curve for us and is very special to us, our families and friends. You might meet one of Bobs four Children Oli, Tom, Abi and Charlotte, Or our very very good friends Suezy and JJ Kowalski, or even Kate's' Dad (Dave) or her brother Alan. |
