About Us

We are Bob and Kate (and Tom and Ollie - Bobs teenage boys!) and have been living at Millbrook since March 2005. We love the place dearly and strive to make it better and better. In the last year we have planted around 80 new specimen trees, restored the old orchard and created a pinetrum (a collection of pine trees from around the world) and now have many years to watch our American Redwoods grow. We have completed the first stage of the mill restoration project and can now divert water to the wheel - which turns!

We both have other business interests so are not reliant on income from the cottages. This allows the Millbrook income to be re-invested in keeping the cottages and grounds to a high standard.

Millbrook has been a massive learning curve for us and is very special to us and our families.
